Miss Macie {6 months} | Opelika, AL baby photographer

To say I adore Macie would be an understatement! She is the CUTEST and most bubbly little thing. And being only six months old, she can move! Most 6 month olds are mastering sitting up. Well Macie, is not only sitting up, she is crawling! And I mean speed crawling! She can move move move. And she didn’t seem to stay in one place for more than 20 seconds tops. It both her momma and I to wrangle her the whole session, but I certainly didn’t mind getting a few Macie squeezes in here and there.

Macie, I can’t wait until our next session! You will probably be running by then, but I’ll wear my sneakers. ha!

Savannah {7 months} | Auburn, AL baby photographer

So Miss Savannah is such a cutie pie and oh so happy! We did have to attempt her session two times though to get the images I wanted to get. She was a bit fussy during our first session, but today at her second session she was as happy as a clam! And let me tell you, I didn’t mind one bit getting to see her twice during her 7th month.

This little girl’s eyes are made of crystal! They are just the purest blue and stunning! Right now, her hobbies include watching her big brother and playing with her toes. <3

An attempt at photographing my own kid and puppy!

So before Christmas, I decided I was going to attempt to photograph my own little one with his puppy. Now, let me preface this by saying, my three year old hates the camera. Seriously hates it. Normally when I pull it out, he puts his head down or he turns around and allows his backside to face me. ::sigh:: I was determined to get at least ONE decent picture of him looking ( and maybe possibly smiling) at the camera for our Christmas card. Well, being a glutton for punishment, I thought it would be wise to include our new puppy as well.

Oh yes. . . three year old + puppy = serious cuteness but also a serious headache to get two adorable subjects to look in the same direction at once. (I’m not one for photoshopping head swaps onto a photo. . . kinda creepy) Plus I’d rather capture the real moments.

With out further ado, I present our pre-Christmas photoshoot!

Ahh sweet puppy love!

After this picture, it all fell apart. But hey, at least I had 5 solid minutes of camera time before the duo ran amok!

Emily {7weeks} | Auburn, AL newborn photographer

Precious Emily made her debut exceptionally early! She is such a miracle baby! Would you believe that she was 7 weeks at our session? Don’t get me wrong, she did make me work a little bit to get her curled up into those sweet newborn poses, but she did fabulously! At just 7lbs at 7 weeks old, she was such a dainty and petite little thing. Holly and Justin, I really enjoyed getting to snuggle with your sweet baby girl! I’m so excited to watch her grow and develop in the next year! She is such a doll!

I had such a great time meeting up and photographing this sweet family! Last time I saw them, Lena was just turning a year old, and now she’s two! It took little Miss Lena a bit to warm up to the camera, but soon she was full of smiles and silly faces. And boy, was she fast! I’m telling you, this girl has a spirit like the wind!
